Jamaica Plain Saxophone Quartet

Praised for their "unrivaled breadth of programming" (Boston Musical Intelligencer), the Jamaica Plain Saxophone Quartet creates diverse concert experiences full of energy and variety. Through a focus on the works of our time, JPSQ aims to leave their audiences with a new or renewed interest in contemporary music. The group performs frequently across Boston in settings as varied as their programming, always striving to connect with new listeners and engage meaningfully with their community. Their concert programs have been presented by the Cambridge Science Festival, Boston New Music Festival, Turtle Swamp Brewery, and MIT.

Testimonials

“JP Saxophone Quartet was the perfect fit for our Twilight Music Series this year. Their set included both classical and jazz which was perfect for a beautiful night in the parks…We will definitely have them back!” – Jamie Santuccio, Emerald Necklace Conservancy

"The Jamaica Plain Saxophone Quartet put on one of the most entertaining shows we have ever had at Standish Village. They knew exactly what the residents would want to hear, played a fantastic array of music, and had them all singing along. We can't wait to have them back and I would recommend them for any event, as they have a great ability to know how to cater to every audience." - Lauren Basler, Standish Village at Lower Mills

“The members of the JP Saxophone Quartet are a very talented and professional group of musicians. Our patrons at the Plumbing Museum loved their performance last summer! I am pleased to recommend JPSQ to any venue looking for an exciting, unique, and fun night!” - Sasha Parfenova, Watertown Plumbing Museum
